Training/School Services (WIOA)
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a comprehensive youth employment program for eligible youth, ages 14-24, who face barriers to education, training, and employment such as but not limited to;
- youth who remain in school and need assistance to graduate,
- or youth between the ages of 16 and 24, who have dropped out of school,
- or youth who need additional assistance to become employed.
Local programs provide youth services in partnership with American Job Centers and under the direction of local Workforce Development Boards.
